Wat Saiakun, Koh Kred, Thailand
To get to some buildings on Koh Kred, sometimes you cross wooden plank bridges.
Koh Kred, a small island north of Bangkok. The island is so small, there are no cars on the island. Everyone gets by on bicycle, motorbike, or foot. Consequently, the “main road” of the island is just a cement path.
Can you believe it?
More magnificent details of Wat Phra Sri Rattana.
Happy new years! This was my first meal of 2013. A four course meal, though unfortunately, in my delight to consume it, I forgot to take pictures of the other two courses.あけまして、おめでとうございます！これ２０１３の最初の朝ごはんでございます。４コースもありましたが、２つのコースの写真を撮るのを忘れてしまいました。
At Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsdaram in Bangkok, home of the Emerald Buddha, I was overwhelmed by each and every spectacular building, from their enormous size down to the most minute details. It was not possible to capture a good picture of the grounds in one shot, as there are so many magnificent structures crammed into such a small space. It was a place of worship fit for a king, indeed.
